“The Unknown Temple” is based on ancient text and passages from Greek tragedy regarding the myth of the goddess Artemis. The city of Artemida, also known as Loutsa, has an ancient history which many are unaware of. The performance piece has been created to inform, educate and inspire the general public and local schools about this exceptional place.

The performance will be presented at the ancient site of Artemis Tavropolos. Closed until now, the ancient site is open to the public for the first time in modern history for this special theatrical event.

Performing live at the ancient site of the temple of Artemis Tavropolos, the actors bring life to this distinctive setting and create a unique cultural experience for the little known history of Artemida. A lecture and discussion precede the performance.
